As you are aware the academy worked towards gaining the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA). As an academy we are committed to investing in our parents for the achievement of our students. The award is DfE recognised and externally validated. It is designed to help strengthen and enhance the relationship between parents, children and their schools.
In July 2012 we had our Initial Audit, where an LPPA Advisor established areas of existing good practice within our Academy and identified areas for development.
The Final Assessment took place and the academy was awarded the LPPA July 2013.
Gaining this award is of great benefit to the parents and students of New Charter Academy, evidencing the importance of parental involvement within the academy. It is a badge of excellence in the work we do alongside our parents.
