For young people who give their time to improve the lives of others

ABBIE WILLIAMS Year 7

The Diana Award is a legacy to Diana, Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better. The Award’s mission is to support and develop young people by:

Abbie is selfless, wise beyond her years and passionate. Her enthusiasm radiates in everything she does and if Abbie’s around, no job will go undone. She has taken part in thousands of hours of voluntary activity working to support ‘Meningitis Now’ and to provide sports equipment and opportunities for disabled people. Her passion for dance and making sport inclusive is inspiring, and her attitude can light up someone’s darkest day. While Abbie has had her fair share of struggles she overcomes them with her head held high—no questions asked and isn’t phased by the greatest obstacle.
