New Charter Academy exists to provide the very best start in life for all of our young people. You will find that we provide individual care and encouragement, great teaching, world class facilities and exceptional opportunities that enrich lives and broaden horizons.

We are well placed, at the heart of the community, to prepare our students for life in an ever changing and complex world, and believe passionately in the traditional values of respect for others, personal responsibility and a commitment to hard work.

We have high standards of student appearance, behaviour and a focus on caring for individuals that has established New Charter Academy as the first choice for many parents. Those who choose us find that their children are cared for as individuals, enjoy coming to school and that they develop quickly as learners, both inside the classroom and during our many extra-curricular activities.

Our 6th Form also provides the personalised opportunity to work hard and achieve the qualifications required to take the next step in adult life. Our academic curriculum has been developed to include a select number of vocational courses that enable clear progression to University, higher level apprenticeship or employment.

The motto ‘learn, grow, achieve’ illustrates daily life at New Charter Academy. We learn by working hard and enjoying exciting activities, we grow together into polite, well-mannered and responsible young people; and finally we celebrate together when we achieve our goals, turning our potential into success.

I look forward to talking to you about our very special Academy in the near future.
